Other MSS Groups

Motorola two way radio servicers have formed regional associations as far back as the 1950′s. These original servicers were know as MSS’s, this is short for “Motorola Service Station.” An MSS is an independent company, generally locally owned and in many cases family owned, authorized by Motorola to provide warranty, installation and repair services for Motorola two-way radio and paging products.

As the wireless industry and Motorola has developed their business plans, these servicers have now become sales organizations. However their primary focus is still on service, installation and repair of two way radio and communications equipment.

• Western Motorola Service Provider Association (WMSPA)
  Serving Motorola Service Providers in the Western United States 
• USMSS
  The largest MSS group with over 150 members. www.usmss.org
